NGC 6284 is a cute little globular about 2 or 3 arc minutes across. Found about 7 or 8 degrees east of Antares, I initially mistook this to be M19. It is designated as a Class IX (of XII) morphology so it is a fairly loose collection, similar to M4. NGC 6284 is approximately 50,000 light years away.
