In the mid and high
seasons, bookings are available by the week only. In the low season
weekdays or weekends can be booked.

Please note that
we do not charge a booking fee (typically $50) or HST on our
rentals. This equates to a saving of about $258 per week versus
bookings which charge these fees.

E-mail your booking
request to us and we will hold the request for up to 7 days
During this time you
will need to submit a booking application and make a deposit of $500
which will become your security deposit.
Upon acceptance of
your application and deposit we will confirm your booking by e-mail.
- The balance is due and payable 30
days prior to the first day of the rental period. If the Client
books a cottage and the application is approved and there is less
than 30 days before the commencement of the vacation, the total
payment is due. A $25 fee is applied for late payments, i.e. not
received 30 days prior to rental period.
All payments are to be made payable in
Canadian Funds by cash, personal cheque, money order, or by
International Canadian Money Order if out of Canada.
Here is how the
- $500 initial deposit is due upon booking
- Rental amount (e.g.
$1600 per week during high season) is due 30 days before
- Thus you will have paid
a total of $2,100 (if for one week rental)
- $500 security deposit is
refunded within 4 weeks of check-out, minus damage, any
phone/satellite charges or cleaning costs.
Any cancellation must be
in writing 30 days from the beginning of the cottage occupancy date. If
we are successful in re-booking the accommodation for the entire period
booked, we will refund all monies paid less a cancellation fee of $50
per cancelled week.
DAMAGE AND SECURITY
The Renter is responsible
for damage to the Cottage (inside and outside), including recreational
equipment. The Renter will provide a security deposit of $500 (Canadian)
in case of damage and incidental charges. Refund of security deposit
will be returned within 4 weeks after check-out day, upon satisfactory
inspection of the property, as well as phone and satellite charges.
The renter must carry
comprehensive personal liability insurance as part of their home owners
or renters policy and must enclose proof of such insurance to demonstrate
that any damage made at the property will be covered by their insurance.
This is a requirement of our insurer.
PERSONS USING THE COTTAGE
The number of persons
present overnight (including guests) must never exceed the number
indicated by the Renter in Occupant List without the prior written
permission of the Owner. Failure to comply can result in immediate
eviction without refund.
- Check-in time is 4:00 pm on the
date agreed in our Rental Contract.
- Check-out time is 12:00 pm.
- Renters must bring their own
linens (sheets, pillow cases) and towels.
- The Cottage operates on a septic
system. Its misuse or over use could lead to major damage and

- NO PETS ALLOWED
- LOCAL PHONE CALLS ARE FREE,
however you must bring and use a 'phone card' for all
long-distance calls made during your stay.
- In the event that any
unreasonable rowdiness or noise occur such that leads to
repeated complaints by others, the customer shall vacate the
premises immediately and forfeit the balance of the prepaid
- It is your responsibility to
leave the cottage (inside and out) thoroughly clean and tidy
(cleaning supplies will be available). If cottage is not left
clean, any additional required costs of cleaning will be deducted from your
- Any damage that occurs to the
cottage or anything on the property must be reported prior to
departure, so that we may assess and mutually agree to the cost
of repairs or replacement value.
