Adventures and Encounters for the Al-Qadim setting
Ok so you would like some quick encounters to get the characters going or you need a complete adventure for them, as you have hit a dry spot with your own creative genius, or maybe you just need an Idea or two?

Well if you have got your hands on all the Al-Qadim supplements (follow that link for a complete list) and you have bought the few TSR modules that will work in an Zahkaran setting you should have plenty of material for a long time.  But unfortunately the Al-Qadim setting is out of print and not easy to find and the few modules from TSR that would fit is such a setting, as Al-Qadim, are very few and far between.

Here I hope to help you all, and me :).  By placing adventures, encounters and ideas from adventures and encounters, for the Al-Qadim setting in mind, that I have made for use with my Gaming group, as well as any ideas that have been sent to me or that I have found on the WWW.

These should all be compatible with Al-Qadim (Zahkaran) settings and indeed with any setting that has a desert or an Arabian type theme.  Have fun.

Oh and remember all that Copyright stuff about TSR and trade marks and the like, none of us wants to get in to trouble, when all we want to do is play and RPG and share information to make the whole experience that much more enjoyable for all, and expand our hobby.

If you wish to use any of the adventures etc. from this site, you may but remember that the pictures and maps are not mine (unless stated otherwise) and are the popery of the rightful copyright holders etc.  If you publish them anywhere else, could you at least give the authors credit for their work ...

Ok enough with all the legalities, on with the games heh ?! :)

Adventures and Encounters
Halwa It's where the characters are from, well most of them, anyway.
The Arabian Nights This is a great site with the entire story of the Arabian Nights tale. A must read.
The tale of Ali Baba and the forty thieves  Just what it says, worth a look here for inspiration.

The Inheritance. This adventure is about a genie, a rich gift, a young fool and how he was easily parted from his inheritance.  Submitted by Eduardo E. Zattara from Argentina, the original was in Spanish.

Curse of Amen Tut Ra  This adventure is for characters that like a mystery, a puzzle or two and who like to take their time and look around.

Riders Of Rowan'D This could either be used as an encounter or as an adventure.  Can they save the famous Riders from an eternity of repeating the same mistake?

Oasis of the shifting Sand  This encounter involves an Oasis inhabited by "unfriendly" sand.  Its a great way to start them off on an adventure.

The Seer sees a Maze: A blind seer tells the characters of a maze in the middle of the desert, and of a curse  that two lovers must endure.

Lots of you have played, or have the old dungeon crawl module, "The Keep on the Borderlands" Dungeon Module B2 by Gary Gygax.  It is an introductory module for low level characters.

Well it does not have to stay that way, here is an attempt to make it and arabian style game.

Village of Kirkuk, as was found in the basic D&D suplement, The Emirates of Ylaruam (9194 Gaz2) it is good.  I named my page after it in fact :)  Anyway, here was my attempt to place it in the Zakhara world and in fact it was the starting point for most of the PC's in my campaign.
