Cash Cards
“Help raise funds for St. Matthew's;
purchase a Cash Card!”

Help raise funds for St. Matthew's; purchase a Cash Card.  Cash cards are another name for gift cards, except you don’t have to use them just for gifts.   You use cash cards to do your own shopping.  Of course, you can give them away as gifts too.

Here’s how it works:  let’s say that you shop for groceries at Loblaws, and you spend at least $100 a month at Loblaws. If you “buy” a $100 Loblaws cash card through our fundraising program, you give us $100 and we give you a $100 back in the form of a Loblaws cash card.  So it doesn’t cost you anything, and you can use the Loblaws cash card to buy $100 worth of groceries at Loblaws, just like you always do.  In the meantime, St. Matthew’s is paid $4 for selling you that $100 cash card. So it costs you nothing to help raise money for St. Matthew’s!

Through our Cash Card program, you can buy cash cards from dozens of merchants: all major grocery stores, gas stations, hardware stores, etc.  They also make great gifts – cash cards are available for Tim Hortons, many restaurants, movie theatres, etc.  Cash cards are available in several denominations ($10, $25, $50, $100) from most of the merchants.

See the attached order form for a full list of the merchants participating.  Print the order form to take to church.

On the order due dates listed below bring your order form to church with payment cheque attached.  This will be collected at church and then the following Sunday your cash cards can be picked up at church.  Here is the schedule of dates to bring your order form to the church in  2017 - 2018.
