Glossary of Abbreviations
The Dictionary of Time & Space is arranged in a format similar to that of a standard dictionary, except that it deals only with words or phrases relating to the many aspects of Time and Space. The following is a list of abbreviations used in this dictionary. Most abbreviations are the same as in a standard dictionary, although some new terms, denoted by an asterix (*), had to be created for the unique properties of many of the words found herein.

conv. * converter - any word that converts a word or phrase real to variable.
ex. example
incl. including; inclusive
inv. * inverter - any word that converts a word or phrase from real to variable and from one dimension to another; changing rt. to vs., or rs. to vt.
met. metaphor; metaphorical
n. noun
pl. plural
pref. prefix
pron. pronoun
rs. * real space - referring to any scientifically accepted aspect of space or spatial relations
rt. * real time - referring to any scientifically accepted aspect of time or temporal relations
suf. suffix
v. verb
vs. * variable space - referring to any variable aspect of space or spatial relations
vt. * variable time - referring to any variable aspect of time or temporal relations
