WOW !! What an overwhelming turnout for LECC Fish Fry 2005. I
can't believe it was the1st fish fry ever for LECC in 85 yrs.. You can be sure it is not
the least. Our clubhouse
adorned with bright yellow flowing tablecloths, flowered
centerpieces & the aroma of homemade bake goods filled the
air. One hundred and twelve people enjoyed a feast of fresh Lake
Erie perch. Many family and friends enjoying the
camaraderie while waiting for their meal. Some just watching in ah as the cooks prepared the meals
so efficiently almostas if they had done this before.. I can't begin to list the
names of people who donated time,
products & desserts. The number was so overwhelming. THANK YOU
SO MUCH to all.
Every event has its volunteers & yes they work hard to put on an
event but the real
people to THANK are the ones who bought tickets and attend for
they are the ones who
make an event a success. Without those who take part you only
have a lot of fish & coleslaw & tired volunteers. Once again
a very sincere and appreciative THANK YOU to all. AND
see you at the fryers in 2006.
