of Adoptive Parents
The 'Agence Québécoise d`Adoption Internationale' (AQAI) was founded on February 26, 1991 by Mrs. Louise Simard Proulx and Mrs. Christine Nadeau. It is a non-profit organization authorized by both the Québéc and Romanian governments to process adoptions in Romania.
The AQAI works in direct collaboration with the Romanian Adoption Committee, the governmental organization responsible for international adoptions. Together, they oversee the developments of the adoption process.
Since 1991, the AQAI has fulfilled its mission in finding homes for numerous Romanian children with families in Québec. These children have adapted easily into their new environment. The AQAI office is located in Charlesbourg, Québec, Canada.
Please direct any questions or requests for more information on Romanian adoptions to the AQAI office.
