He is the perfect gentleman on
all of our walks... I now walk him off leash were ever we go and he heels
like a dream and nothing has distracted him from me... when I release him
to "go sniff" he automatically heels again if a human or canine stranger
is approaching us... with only the occasional "horse snort" but absolutely
no barking or grumbling... when he is nervous of a stranger he goes behind
me again without being told and without a sound... if I say an excited
"who's that" he wags his tail, with some he gets excited and you'd think
he new them forever... with a few he acts very shy, gives them a sniff
and accepts a short pat and then moves out of reach, closer to me and puts
himself in a sit stay while we talk... this behaviour again is with both
his human and canine strangers....
Because of you we are now
able to fully enjoy our relationship and I think Charlie is a much more
confident dog who completely respects me as his leader!!! Thanks for all
of your help, guidance and insights... I could never of accomplished
this with out it!! |
