Training Services

Here at Uplander, we only have a total of 6 kennels. In other words, dogs that come here for training get plenty of individual attention/training. They are not one of many dogs to be ushered through briskly.

At present I offer the following services to my clients:

• Your dog is sent to achieve a certain goal/objective (ie. hunt / field test / field trial). He stays with us and there is a monthly rate. This process delivers the best results because the dog is worked virtually every day.
• You live in close proximity to my facilities, and elect to arrange appointments for training on days that you are available to visit with us and share in the training sessions.
• You set up a semi-regular schedule -ie. Tuesdays at 11:00, ( I say semi-regular to accommodate some flexibility for us both. The business of training dogs requires flexibility because dogs are dogs and not machines ).
• If you chose to have your dog flown to us, we are 1 hour from the Toronto International Airport, 30 minutes from the Hamilton (Mount Hope) Airport, and we're just 1.5 hours from Buffalo NY Int. Airport.
