I was born in Versailles, France of a German mother and an Iranian father. I spent my first years between France, Iran and Germany and eventually settled in France. At university in Paris I obtained degrees in Russian and German Studies.
I then moved to Germany where I worked for different companies in the automotive sector, where my trilingualism (French, German and English) was one of my main tools. Although I was quite successful, I always found myself thinking more about the people I met, what they were like, what power made of hem, how one person could be successful and another one not. I realized that I was not made for the business world.
After three years of a distance education program I became a Psychological Counsellor (ALH) and started my own practice in Stuttgart. I also attended programs in Bach Flower Remedies Counselling (THALAMUS), Dorn Massage Therapy (THALAMUS).
My next move was to Zurich, Switzerland, where I found myself attending the first year of the Gestalt Therapy Program (IGW) while teaching French in a language school. In 2002 I moved to Toronto with my husband where I graduated from the 3 Year Gestalt Program (Gestalt Institute of Toronto). I have attended many shorter programs and workshops over the years in order to supplement my training, including: Sensory Awareness (Charlotte Selver) Client Centered Therapy (Rogers) Dreamwork in Gestalt Therapy (Brigitte Rasmus, IGW) The practice of Gestalt Therapy (David Hoban, Gestalt Therapist, CA, USA)
