The Eagle Heart and Spirit Catalogue of Resources brings together a series of live recordings and books by our friend and guide "John", who represents a highly evolved group of entities that have been channeled by Mel Brand since 1984.
These often amusing, frequently provocative and always helpful topical sessions by John give us information and guidance about our spiritually evolving world.
No part of our lives is immune to this process - from economics to relationships, everything is changing. A spiritual perspective helps us to understand our personal and collective journey into the heart and the power of love that lies within.

The cassettes in this Catalogue of Resources are listed in sequence reflecting the order in which they were recorded and, more importantly, the process of spiritual awakening as it evolves over time. All tapes include growth information.
John explains why certain people are in our lives and how our souls use emotional experiences for growth. Questions about animals, stuttering, human evolution and nuclear reactors are answered.
We are instilled with fear of death which through growth and out of body experiences can be let go of. Disease is an opportunity to grow spiritually. Eventually we will live on earth as long as we choose and will be able to take our physical bodies with us.
What will the world be like in 50 years! The United Nations and environmentalists will play a large part in world peace, and there will be no need for a police force. Information about creating bliss energy and reluctant teachers is presented.
When the solar plexus is cleansed to the greater degree, it becomes a transducer for "
negative" energies for others in time-space reality. We are learning to function consciously
in the dimension between waking and sleeping, and we have more abilities to help others.
John describes the role of a spiritual teacher in today’s society. We also learn that when our hearts awaken, we have the power to expand our vision of possibilities.
All vortexes on the planet are being activated. John describes one as an example to show how these emanations of light affect us. He tells how those who can tolerate the vibration will grow toward having gifts which control the physical, being invisible to some, and manifesting, among other things.
We can be a light to others and overcome all difficulties by allowing the energies to flow through our life without controlling them. We prolong symptoms of growth by forgetting to hear the simplicity of the message, ie.: surrender to self and let go of worry.
Many predictions will not come to pass. One must consider the growth of the person the material comes through. The past and present are easy to perceive, however, the future depends on the present. "Light soldiers" are determining the future.
The physical is a portion of the higher self and many lifetimes have been experienced by the higher self in lower vibrations. The awakening brings incarnation of one's true self. With this integration all things are possible. The chakras are the expression of the soul at any given lifetime.
With growth comes the responsibility of using the ability to focus energies and create objects out of nothing, as Jesus did. It means breaking free of society and doing what one's soul needs and wants to do.
John talks of our receptivity to love at Christmas; the role of spiritual teachers; guardian angels; heaven and hell and other delights.
John outlines the expressions of the heart, throat, third eye and crown chakras, how they work together and the possibilities that exist when we evolve into the upper chakras.
This tape brings a simple message of what really is a simple process - we make it difficult. The key is surrender. The soul and its process take us where we need to go, one step at a time. We can't make it happen.
We are reminded to surrender and let our hearts (souls) do the work. We must remember that our bodies are like 50 watt bulbs with the essence of 100 watts of energy beginning to flow through us. As we grow, we adjust, and as we learn responsibility, we increase our multi-dimensional abilities, such as helping others in the dream state.
Menopause is an opportunity to evolve spiritually and integrate higher levels of energy. What are the effects of medical and surgical treatments! John tells us that it can be destructive to the system and the spiritual process. He presents understanding of what is, in effect, a spiritual process.
All things are expressions of energy - and in the case of abuse, it is no different. Emotional, physical and sexual abuse are all lower chakra expressions of unbalanced vibrational patterns, passed on through families and experiences. Victim and perpetrator attract through vibration.
Over the next ten years the school system will change dramatically so that within suitable environments, teacher/healers will help children grow creatively, imaginatively and spiritually. Imagine the effect this will have!
As we grow spiritually, we will begin to notice powerful changes in the economy. An economy that reflects a spiritual vibration rather than the vibration of greed and abuse of power will begin to emerge. We begin, in this session, to expand our vision and fathom the possibilities.
Our role is to heal ourselves so that in balance, we can respond to the needs of children - who are not children, but large souls in small bodies. We have responsibility to put personal feeling aside and help our children become balanced, creative, happy and fully developed spiritually.
With the onset of the creative power of pondering 'imagining at the heart', we evolve into creators and have access to higher states of consciousness. John shows us how this process begins, and how to ponder.
Relationships are catalysts for growth. Moving beyond guilt, obligation, duty and other belief systems can bring us into new forms of relationships and a new concept of love.
Through an (almost) overwhelming amount of information we learn about healing; ‘positive’ and ‘negative’ energies, UFOs, crop circles, alien abductions, deciphering the truth, pyramids, Stonehenge, and the use of crystals.
Today, healthy balanced eating and the use of herbal remedies are seen as spiritual
endeavours. John turns this concept upside down and tells us what real balanced nutrition
is, and what the brain and soul can do without confusing the body by overdoing remedies.
As we grow spiritually, leaders will replace politicians, and a system based on exchange will replace a system based on productivity and greed. We must let go of control and stop participating in the current belief system, then things will start to change. Imagine the effects of functioning at a higher vibration on every system from transportation to food.
We are helped to understand that sexual play in children is a necessary exploration of masculine and feminine energies - a process that is vital in the development of balanced adults. Examples of the results of balance and imbalance are given.
We learn how bulimia and anorexia are expressions of imbalances and vibrational patterns passed down through the family. To heal, the trigger event must be found and the whole family should be involved in the healing process which can go beyond the limits of present understanding.
Crime and violence are expressions of imbalance and therefore most criminals can be healed. The old system is archaic and will give way - there are already people in many of society's systems beginning to make the changes. John helps us see the system differently and our potential roles in its change.
To become a free spirit we must let go of old modes of thinking, doing, and wanting others to do for us what we can do for ourselves. Instead of giving our power away, we have to start believing in our own intuition and wisdom; stop thinking and start pondering, sensing and perceiving. Learning in the out-of-body state qualifies us to work outside of and within this time-space reality.
This dream tape throws out the old dream symbologies and interpretations. They no longer fit as we move into the heart. We are given a glimpse of what is beginning to happen in our dreams, the theater of our soul.
In order to open to greater ability and higher consciousness, our masculine and feminine (yin yang) energies come into balance, first in the solar plexus and then in the heart. This tape gives greater understanding of the energies.
This critical phase sets the stage for balanced personality development and spiritual
awakening. All input at this time is significant. Most go through puberty with imbalances
of masculine and feminine (yin yang), and these imbalances and restrictive beliefs will be
re-experienced and cleared in an onset of puberty in adulthood during the awakening
process.
John emphatically tells us that the common concept of karma is actually an expression of guilt and fear developed by our conscious selves. It becomes clear that free will is a spiritual, not conscious, faculty.
John makes it crystal clear that sexual dreams are not about sexual interaction, but opportunities for the exploration, exchange and infusion of masculine and feminine energy.
These are two sides of the same coin being more or less useless in spiritual growth. The ego is a construction of emotions and beliefs. John gives examples of ego behavior and explains how growth can transform the intellect into the voice of the soul.
An explanation of an experiment in moving a pendulum through thought is used as an example of the potential of influencing the physical world to a greater degree. The variables are different for each person.
Once we grow beyond our old beliefs, personas, self images, egos and other illusions, our spirit can become integrated. We learn that we begin to create in the dream-state. More and more we begin to emanate this outward, in waking consciousness. We begin to create situations moments, days, months ahead. We are told to take ourselves less seriously and remember; the key is fun !
To understand suicide we must leave behind old belief systems and remember that our souls incarnate with a purpose - growth. Sometimes the opportunity for spiritual growth is impossible every situation is different. If we change our beliefs about suicide those that choose to leave could do so less violently; it could be done gently as a ‘strategic withdrawal’.
We come to a point in spiritual growth when we desire a relationship based on soul compatibility. John explains how this comes about and what our role is in manifesting a spiritual relationship.
Accepting situations brings detachment at an inner level. Achievement of detachment at the physical level opens us up to consistent connection with higher guides. John offers applications for non-attachment and verbalizes some difficulties our group members experienced.
The chakras continue to expand as more universal energies come through resulting in improvements in the immune system and regenerative powers of the body. The beginning of activation of the chakras above the head leads to full expression of one's soul in the physical.
The first of a series of books, this one is an explanation of spiritual awakening with a common sense approach and a down to earth message about true spiritual growth. Many are awakening to function from the heart center, which can be a difficult transition because we have functioned from the solar plexus for so long. A must read for understanding the process and related issues.
