Convenient Location

Princess Towers is conveniently located in the central business district of historic Kingston. Because of its downtown location, it is close to shopping, entertainment and less than 10 minutes walking distance to the main campus of Queen's University. Princess Street is the major downtown street and the bus stop in front of us provides easy access to most areas of Kingston.

We provide accommodation to individuals and groups from around the world. Many mature and part time students, as well as professionals, enjoy the rich and stimulating environment here.

Excellent Service

A site office is open during normal business hours. At other times a live-in superintendent is on duty. Card operated laundry facilities are located on the ground floor off the main lobby. The underground parking has surveillance cameras and access requires a card. Guest and overflow parking is available at the back of the building. Rates are $60/month or $6/day.

Princess Towers has both "shared" accommodations and apartments. Prices include water, heat and hydro. Automobile parking, laundry, telephone, cable TV and internet connections are available but involve additional charges.

Affordable Downtown Living

The minimum rental period for apartments is 12 months. Apartment configurations include bachelor (kitchen and bedroom are not separated), 1 bedroom, and 2 bedroom units. Prices for Bachelor's range from $620 to $747; one bedroom's are from $695 to $955; and 2 bedroom units are from $1,064 to $1,247 per month.

In shared accommodation two to four people rent a bedroom, with locking door, but share the living room, kitchen and washroom(s). Some bring their own furniture but others use ours which can include a bed, desk, chair and lamp. Students and those intending to stay less than 12 months, in particular, find this accommodation desirable. Eight month terms, and four month when available, with payment in advance, are popular. Traditional monthly payments apply to both 10 and 12 month terms.

Prices per room range from $3,789 to $6,216 for an 8 month term and $320 to $525 per month for a 12 month term. If several individuals get together, and rent an entire unit as a group, savings can be obtained. Rates for a 4 bedroom unit are as low as $344 per month per person. Comparable rates for 2 and 3 bedroom units are as low as $440 and $323.
