The 2008 District 9 map does not show the trail that runs west to Tie Road then heads north along the rail trail that leads to Port Elgin. Stops can include lunch at the King's Pearl Grill in Tiverton or Cottage Grocery at Inverhuron. Gas is availiable at both Tiverton and Inverhuron. Other sights on this trail include the Bruce Energy Centre right along the trail and a view of The Bruce Power Generating Station as well as small wind farm just north of the Energy Centre
SaugeenSC has around 175 km of groomed trails, that include a mix of open farmland, reforestration, abondoned railbed, and bush trail. Our clubhouse is located at intersection 315 which is open for food each weekend during the winter. Or stop at our warm-up shack located just south of intersection 303. This is equipped with a wood burning BBQ that you can roast hot dogs on, if you happen to carry a few with you.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy our trails and facilities.
