Hi, I'm Lily.

I am a pure-bred English Springer Spaniel and I was born on October 20, 1996. My Dads name is Rick Rack (Ricky) and my Moms name is Millicent Rose (Millie) and they live at Brycon Kennels in Tillsonburg Ontario.

This is a picture of all my brothers and sisters!!!
That's me, fourth from the left, having my ear nibbled!

First day This is a picture of me taken on Jan. 30 1997.

This is a very special day!!
It's the first day at my brand new home!

Even though I miss everybody, it sure is nice not having to share anymore!!

Big Bone You'll never guess what I got for my First Birthday?

It took me almost a year to eat that bone!

Two Balls This is a picture of me lying in one of my favourite places. Right in the middle of the action!

You might wonder why I have two tennis balls in my mouth?

Well, somebody might want to play fetch the ball with me, and what would we do if they lost the ball?

Here are two of my best friends. That's Duster on the left and Sally on the right. Duster had her 9th birthday in 2001.
Sadly, Sally left us on March 17th, 2000 when she was 16.
This is Baron and he is one of my friends from down the street. Everyone on the street likes to yell at Baron but Baron just yells right  back!!

Here are two recipes for my favourite biscuits.

Misty's Treats Dog Biscuits--Cheese Flavored
Yield: 1 batch

1 c Oats, rolled
1/3 c Butter
1 c Water
3/4 c Cornmeal
1 tbs Sugar
1 ts Bouillon, beef
1/2 c Milk
4 oz Cheese, cheddar; shredded
1 Egg, beaten
3 c Flour, whole wheat

Boil water. Combine oats, butter and water. Let stand ten minutes. Stir in cornmeal, sugar, bouillon, milk, cheese and egg. Mix well. Add flour, a cup at a time, mixing well after each addition to form a stiff dough. On floured surface, knead in remaining flour until dough is smooth and no longer sticky, 3 to 4 minutes. Roll or pat out dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with bone shaped cookie cutter. Place 1-inch apart on greased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated 325 degree oven 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.

Dog Biscuits--Bacon Flavored
Yield: 40 servings

5 c Whole wheat flour
1 c Milk
2 Eggs
10 tbs Vegetable oil or bacon fat
1 pinch Onion or garlic powder
1 ts Salt
1/2 c Cold water
1 tb Vegetable oil or bacon fat for greasing cookie sheet

Mix all ingredients well. Pinch off pieces of the dough and roll them into two-inch balls. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Let them cool, then store in an airtight container.
